Blame it on gypsies.... sheesh!
I am sure they can tell us all about the blood behind the couch.
And the blood on the carpet of the parent's sleeping area.
The gypsies stole the child, bloodied her up a bit and then were courteous enough to attempt CLEANING UP THE BLOOD.

Sorry.
This was an inside job or done with the knowledge of the parents.

Julián Peribañez, from Metodo 3, is now the THIRD McCann Team investigator to have been sent to jail since they worked for the McCanns - the others being Antonio Jiminez Raso (in prison 2008-2012) and Kevin Halligen (2009 to present)....Kate McCann: "Did they really believe that a dog could smell the ‘odour of death’ three months later from a body that had been removed so swiftly? They were adding two and two and coming up with ten."....Martin Brunt: "Scotland Yard believes it has unearthed enough clues to justify the Portuguese authorities re-opening their investigation, which was abandoned 15 months after Madeleine vanished."....Kate McCann: "What we need is for the Portuguese police to reopen the case. That is crucial."...Gonçalo Amaral: "For the McCanns to ask for the process to be reopened, all it would take is a letter to the prosecutor...it costs them nothing, just the stamp on the letter."....The McCann couple or their Tapas friends could force the reopening of the process if they would do the reconstruction....In 2007 British Ambassador Alexander W. Ellis admitted that the British Police had developed evidence against Kate and Gerry McCann.....Assistant Chief Constable for Leicestershire police: “While one or both of the McCanns may be innocent there is no clear evidence that eliminates them from involvement in Madeleine’s disappearance.”....Martin Brunt, Crime Correspondent: "The crucial part of the evidence appears to be a complete match of Madeleine's DNA in the boot of the hire car"...Inspector Ricardo Paiva: "It was Scotland Yard who first thought it could be a murder case."......British criminal profiler NPIA, Lee Rainbow: "Madeleine's father was the last one to see her alive. The family is a lead that should be followed. Contradictions in Gerald McCann's statements might lead us to suspect a homicide."...Francisco Moita Flores: "Scotland Yard has made another two million pounds available to search for Maddie McCann"....Gonçalo Amaral: "Elements from the Scotland Yard have been working with an investigative PJ team from Oporto, and what is known is that the “affair” is not going well for the McCanns.".....Scotland Yard dismisses work done by the private agency “Método” 3 hired by the McCann couple....Martin Grime: "Not all the alert signals have been investigated by the appropriate agencies in order to provide forensic comparations, in spite of indications to the contrary.".....

Portuguese police held their own Madeleine McCann reconstruction

A RECONSTRUCTION by Portuguese detectives of key events on the day Madeleine McCann went missing has helped persuade the country's legal offi-cials to re-open the case, we reveal today.

The detectives, who have been reviewing the case files for two years, went to Praia da Luz on the Algarve a month ago to pursue secret inquiries.

They spent hours walking around the Ocean Club working out where certain people were seen at particular times and at Apartment 5a, from where threeyear-old Madeleine went missing on May 3, 2007.

The exercise was the culmination of months of work by four Portuguese detectives based in Porto in the north of the country, who are directly working for the highly respected senior officer Helen Monteiro, an expert on abduction cases.

Wow. You manage to find interesting stuff!

From your link:
Pic 3 shows children in the patio area and their appears to be a stroller next to the parties table.
Puc 5 shows the stroller has been moved to the right of the walkway.
Pic 6 with Jane Tanner shows her looking in the general direction of the stroller.

Pic 7 shows Rachel arriving with her baby in arms. Also, just over the center serving station I see a little blond head.
Pic 8 shows Rachel placing baby with her husband.

Pic 9 shows child with long "white" sleeves on her top standing in front right of serving table.
Her hair is just below shoulder length. She appears to be talking to an unidentified male who is standing to left of serving table. He has flowered shorts.

Pic 10 shows the child with back to camera and seated in a high chair. There is a second child present and seated in a high chair to the left of the first child. Another child, blond, appears between David Payne and Russell O Brien. This child appears with more clarity in Pic 11. (THIS IS NOT THE BABY RACHEL WAS HOLDING. AGE DIFFERENCE.)
Pic 11 shows both children in the high chairs in front of the serving table. They appear to both have dark hair and hair style makes me speculate they are girls. The smaller on the left may have a bow in her hair...

Pic 12 Shows 3 children. The one child is not in the high chair but in front of the serving table.
To her right, in a high chair, is the other dark hair child.
The third child is difficult to see but continue around the table from the second high chair. She is blond. She is standing between a seated male figure and the edge of the table.

Pic 13 and two children's heads may be viewed just above the serving table and to right of pic.
There is a child in the high chair directly in front of the serving table. Head is visible.

Pic 14 Three children seen. Diane Webster is holding a child at the table. Child still in high chair in front of serving table. Small blond head can be seen just to the right of serving table...

http://www.mccannfiles.com/id213.html

It is apparent children WERE welcome at this food establishment.
Not only are many children seen in the pics but there is a play ground area outside seen in other pics.
I was under the impression children were not welcome and the adult had been drinking. Lots.

I would like to see a timeline of who was where and at what time.

I can't copy this but this is Murat who was first investigated.
He has a rather curious reputation...
He is seen here at his home with a child.
IMO, this child is TOO young to be Maddie...

Doubt was cast on the evidence of several key witnesses in the Madeleine McCann disappearance last night.

Those who said they saw suspect Robert Murat outside the family's holiday apartment on the night she vanished may have named the wrong man, it was revealed.

Detectives believe the witnesses who said they saw the British expat could have confused him with a friend of Kate and Gerry McCann, David Payne, who was out searching for the missing three-year-old.

Three friends of the McCanns, Rachael Oldfield, Fiona Payne and Russell O'Brien, told police in July that they saw Mr Murat near the Ocean Club holiday complex while they were searching for Madeleine.

Robert Murat Sues McCann Friends (SOL)

By Felícia Cabrita and Margarida Davim
26 July 2008
Thanks to Joana Morais for translation

Robert Murat is going to prosecute two friends of the McCann couple for perjury in a confrontation ordered by the judge. Also the Portuguese State will be prosecuted, for allegedly "ruining his life". A curiosity: in the thorough searches to his house, Roman ruins were discovered.

Francisco Pagarete, Murat's Lawyer, does not know the evidence that the English gave during the investigation. However, he was present at the confrontation that - months after Murat had been constituted as arguido - was done between his client, Rachel Oldfield and Fiona Payne. The lawyer guarantees to SOL: "They lied in front of us, with the clear intention of incriminating my client".

Pagarete explains that, as soon as the case ends being under the secrecy of justice, he is going to consult 12 thousand pages of the process to find other evidences: "According to what I read in SOL, it was a British journalist who did the first accusation to the English Police. I will check if that is in the process".

Madeleine McCann: critical new evidence is from suppressed report

Ben Farmer – 28 October 2013

Snipped:
-----
Critical new evidence at the centre of the reinvigorated hunt for Madeleine McCann came from a suppressed report by ex-MI5 investigators.

The evidence, including e-fits of a man seen carrying a child the night the toddler disappeared, was included in an intelligence report produced by a firm of former spies for her parents in 2008.

But the report was sidelined for five years by Gerry and Kate McCann because it was critical of people involved and would have caused a distraction if made public, The Sunday Times reported.

The team of hand-picked former MI5 agents was hired by the McCanns in the spring of 2008, 10 months after their daughter disappeared from the Portuguese resort of Praia da Luz.

A report they produced was “hypercritical” of the McCanns and their friends and the authors were threatened with legal action if it were ever published, the paper reported.

PJ searches for Maddie's body again

29 October 2013 | Posted by Joana Morais

Hypothesis of homicide is investigated by the authorities. Follow the investigation with CM.

by Ana Isabel Fonseca/ Tânia Laranjo

The Judiciary Police has already taken steps to try to find Maddie's body, following the reopening of the case. The hypothesis that the British girl was murdered is one of the lines of investigation being followed by the inspectors. The thesis of homicide integrates the framework of a kidnapping for reasons connected to paedophilia.

The CM knows that the Judiciary Police has undertaken several steps in recent days to try to discover Maddie's body, who disappeared on the night of May 3, 2007 from her bedroom at the tourist resort of the Ocean Club in Praia da Luz, Lagos.

The inspectors in charge of the case have for that matter presented evidence supporting this hypothesis to the Public Ministry, who decided, last Thursday, to reopen the investigation.

Again the McCanns won't like this piece of news. While the Scotland Yard is looking for Maddie alive (as far as we know), the PJ goes back to square one and have dogs searching for her body. While in Britain the police says everything points to Maddie being alive, in Portugal the PJ believes that she "is gone" (her mother's words). Interesting!

Goncalo Amaral speaks about how the 'Maddie' case has affected his family life

29 OCTOBER, 2013 | POSTED BY JOANA MORAIS

“I've been worried about my youngest daughter”

Translation base/Scans by Rolanda M.R. | Corrections/extras by J.M. | Article by Alexandra Ferreira

The former inspector says that he is tranquil with the ongoing trial and that there is too much “publicity and misinformation” to keep in the media limelight a case that has caused severe moral damages to his life.

How did you react to the news that the English Police are investigating new leads?

With calm and tranquillity. I know what this is about, what the authors intend with such news, but anyone who has been following the case throughout the years, will be able to discern among the trashy publicity what is really at stake, and that is an intolerable pressure over a Portuguese court.

Are there changes in the case?

There is no change, there is nothing really new, we continue as it was in 2008 when the process was archived. The authors of the civil action seem to be very creative, so we need to wait for a bolt of their creativity and imagination.

In the ongoing trial which opposes you against the McCanns, they are asking you for 1.2 million euro for defamation.

What is a stake is a trial for the crime of having an opinion, something which is unthinkable in the free and democratic Portugal post-25 de Abril [Carnation Revolution that freed Portugal from 48 years of dictatorship]. Actually, there are no facts to sustain that demand for indemnification (...) The authors of the action want others to believe that my opinion as well as of those who worked with me, Portuguese and English police, which was expressed in the book and in the documentary, has harmed their efforts to find the child and has caused them moral damages. However this premise lacks precise facts.

These reports are smoke and mirrors, IMO.
They fail to explain how "suspects" got the blood into the rental unit, on the parent's sleeping quarter's floor/behind the couch, and especially IN THE VEHICLE. Why I don't accept. Too many "maybes" and Could be" for me. I would expect LE to have FACTS. Like a cadaver dog and a blood scent dog BOTH hitting on same items... No maybes or could bes there...

McCanns: Hotel worker reports are 'pure speculation'

The McCanns have described new reports about a man Portuguese police allegedly suspect kidnapped Madeleine as "pure speculation".

The 40-year-old had been fired from the Ocean Club holiday complex in Praia de Luz where the McCanns were staying when their daughter disappeared on May 3, 2007, and may have been seeking revenge, Portuguese daily Correio da Manha said.

~Snipped~

Clarence Mitchell, who represents Kate and Gerry McCann, said: "We are aware of reports in the Portuguese press.

"They are pure speculation and the McCanns are not going to give a running commentary on every new report."

Hotel worker may have taken Madeleine McCann

ITV News understands that Portuguese Police are investigating a new lead in the search for Madeleine McCann. They now believe she may have been taken by a disgruntled former hotel worker. The man they suspect, died four years ago.

ITV News Europe Correspondent Emma Murphy reports:

------------------------

@Freckles:

I agree with you, these reports are more 'smoke and mirrors'. This is just more misinformation and disinformation, a concocted plot to create confusion and serve as a distraction from the original investigation.

Maddie case: PJ has already carried out the first requests of the rogatory letter asked by the English

31 OCTOBER, 2013 | POSTED BY JOANA MORAIS

Everything that has come out in Correio da Manhã, and was today echoed in the UK media with extras that do not appear in the original article, is part of the rogatory letter requests sent by the English police, being carried out by a six man team of the PJ in Faro, who are working exclusively within the scope of that rogatory letter and nothing else.

If Correio da Manhã was correct with the articles that they have published that means that even the search for Maddie's body, the questioning of witnesses, the paedophiles lead, the gipsy lead, the dead Ocean Club worker lead who was revealed today has being an immigrant from Cape Verde - and who for obvious reasons looks nothing like the e-fit suppressed by the McCanns in 2008, the triangulation of cell phones and phone masts and the reconstitution are all part of those requests made by the English authorities to the Portuguese.

A Judiciary Police team has not yet been constituted to work in the process since it was reopened by the Public Ministry, that is, the official PJ investigation to the Maddie case has not yet been resumed.

Transcript

Pedro Pinto [News Anchor] - The English police requested to the Judiciary Police to investigate the possibility that Madeleine McCann was killed linked to an abduction. As to the Portuguese investigation, reopened last week, new diligences [steps/procedures] have not yet been defined.

Marisa Rodrigues [Reporter/Voice Over] - The first diligences [steps] requested by the English authorities are concluded, and the inspectors of the Judiciary Police in the Algarve await for new indications. The diligences [required procedures] were requested in the rogatory letter and are entirely part of the investigation that is taking place in England ...

This bothers me.
Tells me the mother knows more than she is saying.
In the vid, the mother is heard saying she can't understand how some one could take "that little girl".... she does NOT state the little girl is her daughter! She does not state, "I don't understand how someone could take my little Maddie...."

She appears completely devoid of emotion and of connection in re to her dau, Madeleine.

Madeleine McCann chief suspect 'was a thief who should have been deported from Portugal'

The 40-year-old had been working at the Ocean Club holiday complex in Praia de Luz, where the McCanns were staying when Maddie disappeared

By Gerard Couzens | 1 Nov 2013 08:37

The man was living 15 miles away in the town of Lagos at the time of her abduction.

He was not on the list of employees handed over to police by Ocean Club bosses because he had already been sacked.

The newspaper report claims Portuguese detectives fear he killed Maddie and are now searching for her body.

A source told the paper the police think he may have murdered her to "shut her up" after the case attracted huge media interest. Portugal's Attorney General gave the go-ahead for the inquiry to be reopened last week at the request of the nation's police force.

Maddie case: Widow's suspect accuses PJ of searching for a scapegoat

2 NOVEMBER 2013 | POSTED BY JOANA MORAIS

No personal effects or other goods were stolen from Apartment 5A

by Felícia Cabrita/ with Sónia Graça

The widow of the suspect of Madeleine McCann's death that lead the Judiciary Police (PJ) to reopen the process has guaranteed to SOL that she is going to «hire a good lawyer to defend the honour and memory of the father of her son».

«They have spoken about so many people already, it is disgusting that they are now trying to set up a dead man as a scapegoat», deplores the woman, who does not wish for her name to be divulged. The former partner of the suspect, in his forties, was surprised last week when she was notified to be heard by the PJ, in Lagos, in the scope of the inquest that has meanwhile been reopened. A female officer told her that they were investigating the man with whom she had lived with until 2009, the year in which the suspect died in a work accident, with a tractor in Bragança [North of Portugal].

~Snipped~

To the woman it is a mystery - six years after Maddie's disappearance - the reasons behind PJ sudden U-turn: «It is very easy to responsibilize someone who can no longer defend himself. They can't, in the absence of something better, blame the weakest links. He would never harm a child.»

Madeleine McCann suspect 'a violent thug who was a threat to children’

THE new suspect in the disappearance of Madeliene McCann suspect 'a violent thug who was a threat to children’ had a violent past and a track record of “suspicious behaviour with children”, according to a Portuguese police profile revealed yesterday.

By: Mark Reynolds
Published: Sat, November 2, 2013

Kate and Gerry remain convinced she is still alive [GETTY]

Further revelations have heightened police fears about the man, an immigrant thief killed in a tractor accident two years after Madeleine vanished.

Leading Portuguese daily paper Correio da Manha said the police profile identified the suspect as a worker who had been sacked by the Ocean Club, the Algarve holiday complex in Praia da Luz where Madeleine disappeared on May 3, 2007.

Portuguese officers are examining the possibility that the man, who has not been named by the authorities, may have kidnapped the three-year-old in an act of revenge against his former employers.

The suspect was a father-of-one who emigrated to Portugal from his native Cape Verde off west Africa and was convicted of theft in 1996.

In 1996, he was pardoned by the then president Jorge Sampaio of a crime of theft committed in the area of Portimão, that pardon prevented him from being expelled from the country. It was his criminal record, where there is nothing about paedophilia, that would make him the ideal suspect for the PJ team from Oporto who reanalysed the Madeleine McCann process.

------------------------

This reminds me of the Lisa Irwin case when her parents, their lawyers, and the media pointed the finger at Johnny Tanko, AKA "Jersey" (the fall guy by default), as Lisa's abductor. He was arrested several times for petty theft, and was arrested on unrelated charges when Lisa went "missing". I believe it was for a probation violation, but he was questioned about Lisa's alleged "disappearance" because he was working in the vecinity of the Irwin's house. They couldn't pin anything on him. "Police have since cleared Jersey of any involvement in the case."

"Dead men tell not tales"

I'm wondering is that "thesis" is going to stick.

----------------------

Gerry McCann on their involvement in Maddie's disappearance: "There is absolutely no evidence to support that thesis."

At every trial I have watched/read about, the defense reminds us that IF the def has a prior criminal back ground for something it is no indication he is guilty of some crime in a different and new venue. Even with OJ we were told that just because OJ had reports of physical abuse against Nicole Brown Simpson was NO indicator OJ was capable of murder.

So it goes. Just because this dead suspect may have a history of drug abuse and/or burglarizing residents is no indication he would kidnap a child.... let alone enter the residence to take a child and leave the goods behind!

When people go to blaming a dead person I start to suspect they are desperate for a cover up. Shocked

BTW
Which has been made about a "breeze" in the room coming from a window that had been opened AFTER the family had put Maddie down for sleep. Fingerprints in the window area only belonged to the mother... not even smears from gloves were found on the window. But with an unlocked sliding door, why would a burglar even attempt to open the window immediately next to the door???? And why would the person who entered from the open sliding glass door now go out a front door and down a hallway to the outside? A well lit hallway where they might now be seen? (On the front door: What type of locks were there? Could Maddie have reached the lock? I doubt it. Was it a dead bolt requiring keys to p[en from the interior? Were there other safety devices such as chain?)

Don't get me going on the blood evidence behind the couch or in the bedroom....These parents are covering up and doing a poor job, IMO. Why is the Brit government and media dancing to their tune? Speaks of a conspiracy and a higher level one... crystal ball

Cape-Verdeans in Portugal “repudiate accusations” against a member of their community and demand a “serious investigation”

2 NOVEMBER 2013 | POSTED BY JOAN MORAIS

The Cape-Verdean community in Portugal is “shocked” and “repudiates” the news divulged today in the Portuguese press, containing a Judiciary Police source, stating that a Cape-Verdian man was the author of Maddie McCann's abduction. More: They demand “serious and evidenced” investigations.

“This news sullies all the Cape-Verdeans” and “is not credible”, even because of the sophistication of the crime whose authorship was blamed on a Cape-Verdian immigrant. This, in a process that took place “under the investigations of two police forces of sovereign states and with an active media component”.

In a statement in name of the Federation of the Organizations of Cape Verde, of the Congress of the Cape-Verdeans in the Diaspora and of the Cape-Verdean Association of Lisbon, the community deplores “that a citizen who has died is being set up as a scapegoat”.

Madeleine: Bloody footprint found in McCanns' apartment

Published: 13 October 2007

A bloody footprint was found in Kate and Gerry McCann's apartment, matching a print on their hire car, according to a forensic report shown to The Mail on Sunday.

The existence of the two marks, which has never been revealed until today, is apparently at the heart of renewed suspicion that the couple were involved in their daughter's disappearance.

Deceased suspect in Madeleine McCann case named, pictured in media reports

Staff Writers • News Limited Network • November 04, 201310:31AM

BRITISH tabloid The Mirror has named and pictured a suspect in the disappearance of toddler Madeleine McCann while at a Portuguese holiday resort in 2007.

Euclides Monterio, who was killed in a tractor accident four years ago, was a worker at the Ocean Club resort at which the child and her family were staying at the time.

PICTURE EXCLUSIVE: The face of Madeleine McCann prime suspect - sacked hotel worker Euclides Monteiro

Police warned staff at the Ocean Club Praia da Luz, where Maddie was snatched: "you can't trust this man"

By David Collins | 4 Nov 2013 02:00

Key suspect: Heroin addict Euclides Monteiro was well known to the police

A key suspect in the abduction of Madeleine McCann was fired from the holiday complex where she vanished after police warned staff: “You can’t trust this man.”

Junkie and ex-jailbird Euclides Monteiro was sacked by the Ocean Club in Praia da Luz, Portugal, the year before the blonde three-year-old disappeared on May 3, 2007.

Yesterday, as the first picture of the 6ft 2in ex-waiter emerged, detectives were investigating the possibility that he kidnapped Madeleine after being disturbed as he broke into her family’s apartment.

~Snipped~

His sister Paula said: “It’s ridiculous – the e-fit they released is a white man and my brother was black. He loved kids. He had a son and daughter and would never have harmed a young girl.”

Last week it was revealed Madeleine’s parents, Kate and Gerry, are to apply under Portuguese law to become private “prosecutors”.

It may help them influence the course of the investigation and any future prosecution.

Here is the explanation to the blood that was found in the apartment ...

Did panicking kidnapper plan to leave 'injured' Madeleine McCann with medics?

WHOEVER kidnapped Madeleine McCann may have intended to leave her outside a doctor’s surgery after she was injured in a burglary gone wrong, it was claimed last night.

Kate and Gerry remain hopeful that Maddie is still alive [GETTY]

The key sighting of the potential prime suspect carrying a sleeping child happened in a small road just yards away from Luzdoc, the medical centre in the Algarve resort of Praia da Luz.

British residents Julie and Colin Kimber have been trying to work out why an abductor would risk taking a three-year-old into a fairly busy area of bars and restaurants just before 10pm on May 3, 2007.

Looking at the exact point of the sighting, Mr Kimber said: “You have to ask yourself why he was heading down the hill in this direction when he must have known there were more people about.

“Maybe a burglary went wrong and the child was injured and then he thought he should take her to the medical centre, panicked and then took her away.

“If he was taking her to someone in a car he would not have arranged the rendezvous in this area because too many people would be around. Why risk being seen by somebody?”

Madeleine McCann suspect's family vow to work with Portuguese police to clear his name

Relatives of Euclides Monteiro have hit back after it emerged police believe the 40-year-old, who died in a tractor accident in 2009, may have abducted Madeleine

Sister investigated in Maddie case speaks for 1st time

Monteiro's sister Paula claims he may have sold the phone to someone else before Madeleine disappeared.

Speaking from her home in Argozelo, northern Portugal, she said: "Because of his mobile phone use, he was always swapping or selling his phones around that time.

"I can consider myself lucky not to have been arrested because at the time I even lent him a mobile which was still in my name.

"The phone isn't proof he was near Madeleine McCann's apartment. I know he wasn't there."

She added: "I want this to be clarified so my brother's name can be cleared.

"We might be poor but things have got to be cleared up once and for all because he's dead now and can't defend himself."

~Snipped~

Monteiro's sister added: "He made mistakes in the past. Everyone makes mistakes.

"But they shouldn't look now for a person who has died to cover up something they couldn't discover at the time."

Portuguese police have refused to make any official comment about Monteiro.

Trial: Kate and Gerry McCann (right) are suing former Portuguese police chief Goncalo Amaral (left) over his claims in a book that they faked their daughter's abduction to cover up her death in their holiday apartment

A former Portuguese police chief blamed Madeleine McCann's parents for the three-year-old girl's disappearance to ensure detectives carried on looking for her, a former colleague claimed today.

Antonio Paulo dos Santos told a Lisbon court he believed his friend Goncalo Amaral penned a book pointing the finger at the couple because he was against the shelving of the original investigation.

Kate and Gerry McCann are suing Mr Amaral over his claims in his July 2008 book The Truth of the Lie that they faked their daughter's abduction to cover up her death in their holiday apartment.

His book was released three days after the Portuguese police probe into the girl’s disappearance was archived and the McCanns were told their status as official suspects or arguidos was being lifted.

Defence witness Mr dos Santos, who worked with Mr Amaral in the early Nineties and remains in close contact with him, spoke at the hearing this afternoon.

He said: ‘Everything that's in the book appears to be in the case files. It's not fictional. They are the conclusions of a factual analysis by Goncalo Amaral as the head of the police investigation.

Phone records show suspect was nearby when Madeleine McCann vanished

A DRUG addict being investigated over the disappearance of Madeleine McCann was “in the vicinity” of her holiday complex on the night she vanished, mobile phone records reveal.

By: Mark Reynolds
Published: Tue, November 5, 2013

Detectives in Portugal say the data shows that Euclides Monteiro, a convicted thief and heroin user, was close to or at the Ocean Club in Praia da Luz on the night Madeleine was snatched in May 2007.

Officers are probing whether Monteiro may have taken her out of revenge after being sacked for stealing by the Algarve holiday club.

Records of mobile phone signals obtained by Portuguese police are understood to show that he was in the vicinity of the Ocean Club on the night the three-year-old went missing.

Officers are trying to determine why this might be, as it was a year since he had been sacked and at that time he was living 15 minutes away.

The blood evidence:

1. IF the child had been "accidentally " killed in the process of burglarizing the residence, why would the burglar take a child with him?
IMO, he would have left the child behind if this had happened.
One thing to burglarize a place and another to be caught with a dead child in his arms...

2. Why would the burglar take the child AND clean up the blood from TWO locations?

3. Why would a burglar hide a body behind a couch AND inside the parent's bedroom closet?
(So DID Maddie die on an earlier date and her body was hidden inside the residence?
The Wed night prior to her reported Thursday disappearance: Mother stated there were reports Maddie had cried while they were out of the room. What is Maddie was crying WHILE they were in the room???Who else is to state Maddie was alive after that Wed night? The tennis coach stated she had given lessons to Maddie. Oddly, it was Rachael, not Kate, who was in the adjoining court and gave this info. Could someone else's child had been given the lessons, establishing the story Maddie was still alive at that time?)

4. Why was nothing else taken from the residence and nothing was rifled thru? Certainly, that is something a druggie and a a burglar would do.

5. A young child of Maddie's age would not have been able to have given a clear and convincing description of any burglar. The burglar had nothing to fear in that regard. Heck, she could not have described age, wt, or ht... And IF a burglar had entered, all he had to do was tell Maddie he was with the resort and getting something for her parents...

6. Which female mother complained of having to stay behind with a sick child and she was not going to do that? Said her husband, a doctor, was perfectly able to do that. She was not going to have her holiday ruined!
Was that Rachael, by any chance? Any evidence there was a sick child?

There is a very tight time frame.
A burglar is not going to jeopardize getting caught by dallying with a dead child, ie, moving the body about, cleaning up the evidence, taking the child with him.

The person who left the blood evidence behind in two locations (hidden behind a couch and hidden inside the parent's bedroom closet) will be the person of interest. The fact the person attempted cleaning up goes to the knowledge what happened was wrong...

IMO, this could have been planned in advance.
That would explain Gerry be so negative re a trip that was supposed to be for fun and relaxation.

‘Maddie’ weirdo targeted our kids

Scruff spotted by second Brit

Wanted ... cops' sketch of oddball

EXCLUSIVE  By RYAN PARRY, GARY O’SHEA & JAMES BEAL

Published: 11th November 2013

A SCRUFFY long-haired man tried to lure away a small child in Portugal just WEEKS before Madeleine McCann was kidnapped, a witness claims.

He approached a British holidaymaker saying he was a charity collector — while a sinister accomplice watched from a short distance away.

Cops probing Madeleine's 2007 disappearance now believe the man — also described by TWO other witnesses and similar to police images issued in 2008 — may be key to their investigation.

The Brit holidaymaker, who asked not to be named, said the drugged-up Portuguese man approached her and her five-year-old daughter in Vilamoura — 30 miles from where Madeleine was taken.

She said: "I knew there was something wrong with him, I just wanted to get away from him.

"I felt he was trying to usher us down a cobbled street.

"I could see his accomplice sitting a way away watching us. He was pretending that he wasn't with the other guy, I could tell."

The woman, from the North of England, later reported the incident to private detectives hired by Madeleine's family.

They revealed a villa owner had reported the same men trying to lure away his daughter in Vilamoura.

His sighting came a month before Madeleine was snatched from her Praia da Luz holiday apartment on May 3, 2007. And The Sun has learned a THIRD witness has been quizzed three times by British detectives over her account of seeing a similar man.

Does anyone remember when David Griem, Bob Bashara's lawyer, told Click On Detroit and the Detroit Free Press that his two private investigators had uncovered evidence that pointed to two individuals who were involved in Jane's death?

The suspects never materialized because it was a PR stunt to deflect attention from "Big" Bob.

Yes!  I remember that!  Perfect analogy.  These stories are so bogus and ridiculous that I can't even read them.  It makes me so angry that so many are involved in this cover-up.  Amaral seems to be the only one who was approaching the truth.

I still can't believe that the court system over there allowed the lawsuit against Amaral to go through.  I haven't kept up with the news on that.  I need to go back to a link you posted above where the trial is being covered.  I sure hope he's vindicated in that lawsuit.

The Expresso Interview

Excerpt:

Q – Were you surprised when you were made arguidos?

Kate – It was not surprising after weeks with the media saying that we were suspects. And there we have to ask why the information that reached the media was disfigured. Why do the newspapers say that blood was found in the apartment when the police report does not confirm it? Why was it said that the DNA that was found in the car was a 100% match with Madeleine's?

Gerry – In a way, we would like to have been accused so we could defend ourselves openly. Now, reading the process, there is no evidence that justifies the suspicion, apart from the dogs' action. There was never a sustained explanation. And the questioning: 'What happened to Madeleine? How did you get rid of her? Who helped you? Where did you put her?' All fantasy! If they had found DNA – so what? And if Madeleine had hurt herself inside the apartment – why would that be our fault?
