John Ramsey has had a stressful time no doubt, Jon Benet was murdered, Patsy died, John started a foundation in the name of JonBenet, he moved, he wrote a book on his experience & remarried.

Life goes on, I was amazed a few weeks ago to read JonBenet would have been 22. Seems not that long ago that JonBenet was murdered, but of course John & JonBenet's sibling, Blake, (I think that's right), had to live years with the grief & loss of Patsy & JonBenet.

A real mystery, along w/Maddie McCann's unusual disappearance.

Mystery for us, perhaps, but there are those who DO know the truth of the situation.
They are lying scum who won't take credit for their own actions.
Losers all, IMO.

The son's name was Burke. But regardless they are still all under an umbrella of suspicion.
Just like the Shacknai's and their children will always be under suspicion of two deaths.

Freckles, I agree, there are many cases that could be resolved if only the one's that know the truth got honest, but that's never going to happen, their freedom is worth more to them than spending their life in jail. They would never tell because it is the moral thing to do, because it is the honest thing to do & would be taking responsibility for their participation, but, imo, that's not how many of these scumbags justify their continuing lies. Stephen Powell knows where Josh buried Susan & probably helped, Terri Horman knows where Kyron is, Misty Croslin knows what happened to Haleigh imo, Alya's dad isn't gong to tell when her remains are probably dumped, the list is endless in cases that perps are never charged for lack of evidence.

Thanks, you are correct, Burke was his name, I couldn't remember. I too agree some always live under the umbrella of suspicion, it seems they just have no conscience. imo, KC's life living under the umbrella of suspicion is going to be a lot more miserable than John Ramsey or the Shacknai children, they are wealthy & can always pay the rent, vacation, insulate themselves from the little people, they aren't dependant on society for employment. Suspects such as KC & Terri Horman are going to have a harder time as imo, they are not employable, & their families aren't wealthy to pick up the slack.

They won't tell because they do NOT want to be held accountable for their actions. They want to hide from responsibility, IMO.

(I could have sworn his name was Blake! Is there an older son with that name perhaps? From JR's first marriage?)

this documentary is about 43 minutes long... interesting to note that JBR had DNA under her nails from the potential killer... no one has matched that DNA ...

Experts say that they suspect that the ransom note was dictated by a man and written by a woman

Also clips of interviews with Patsy...

good watch!!

Murder of JonBent Ramsey

" On December 27, The Rocky Mountain News quoted an Assistant District Attorney as saying, "It was very unusual for a kidnap victim's body to be found at home — it's not adding up." According to Charlie Brennan, the journalist who wrote the story, the police had also indicated to him that they held a strong belief that the parents were responsible. Julie Hayden, a television reporter for Denver's Channel 7, also covered the story on the same day and drew the same conclusion. She later explained that from her first exposure to the case, the police had made it very clear that they were not scouring the area looking for "some mad kidnapper," but instead, concentrating their efforts on John and Patsy Ramsey."

In a new interview with People magazine which appears on newsstands on Friday, JonBenet Ramsey's father John reacts to The Daily Camera's exclusive report that a grand jury voted to indict him and his wife Patsy for child abuse resulting in the death of of their daughter JonBenet.

"It's just more drama," the 69-year-old Ramsey says in the upcoming issue of People, The Denver Post reports. It remains unclear if Ramsey already knew about the vote to indict, but he reportedly does go on to say to the magazine that their attorney's had he and Patsy "totally prepared to go to jail" and that they had bail money set up for that possibility.

With the experience Lou Smit brought to this investigation, I hoped he would have closed this case. Unfortunately, he passed away in 2010 leaving the case without solving it.

In 2008 the Boulder County district attorney, Mary T. Lacy, said in a letter to John Ramsey that DNA evidence, unobtainable by earlier methods, had “vindicated your family.” The evidence pointed to an intruder, as Detective Smit had concluded.

IF they were to fly out early in the AM, got in and went straight to bed, had they even packed for the early morning private flight out? When were they home long enough to pack?

Clipped---

" During Christmas day, before the murder occurred, the family spent the morning opening gifts. They were also packing in preparation to fly to their vacation home in Michigan before going to Florida. They went to a friend's house for dinner, leaving there around 8:30 in the evening. They made two stops along the way home, to drop off gifts at other friends' homes, arriving in their own home around 9:00. JonBent fell asleep in the car and was carried to bed. Patsy prepared her and tucked her in, and at no time did JonBent awaken. The parents went to bed and reportedly heard nothing during the night. They retired late and were going to rise early to leave on a private plane."

Wendy Murphy:
Believes JonBenet died due to an accidental overdose of Benzodiazepine.
The PD and other investigators had noted a high amount of the drug in the Ramsey home.
The PD's investigation heavily focused on looking for child porn movies or print material in the home. They repeatedly asked the Ramseys re this issue and asked Ramsey friends, neighbors re any knowledge of porn and the Ramsey family.

The drug is often used to sedate a child in the making of child porn.
JoBenet, at autopsy, showed signs of repeated sexual abuse.
Murphy believes the drug was placed in the pineapple.
JonBenet had undigested pineapple in her stomach.
The autopsy has not released the diagnosis of whether the pineapple contained this drug.
Because it was undigested, Murphy believes JonBenet died shortly after ingesting the pineapple.

The retinas of JonBenet showed signs of violent and sudden shaking which Murphy believes was caused when the child went into respiratory failure due to the overdose of the drug; Murphy believes someone tried to violently shake JonBenet to either bring her out of respiratory failure/start the heart or to revive her. JonBenet was alive when the trauma of the shaking registered to the damage of the eye retinas.

Tricia plans to have Wendy Murphy and James Kohler, _Who Kidnapped JonBenet?_, with a face off on her show.

(Spelling of Kohler may be incorrect.)

Camera reporter sues Boulder DA seeking release of Ramsey indictment

A Daily Camera reporter and a press advocacy group sued Boulder County District Attorney Stan Garnett on Wednesday seeking the release of the indictment that was secretly voted on by the JonBenet Ramsey grand jury in 1999 but never prosecuted.

The Camera reported earlier this year that the grand jury voted to indict the slain 6-year-old's parents on charges of child abuse resulting in death, but that then-District Attorney Alex Hunter refused to sign the document and prosecute the Ramseys.

Camera reporter Charlie Brennan and the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press filed the lawsuit in Boulder District Court on Wednesday afternoon, citing the Colorado Criminal Justice Records Act in an effort to compel Garnett to release the indictment.

JonBenet Ramsey Case: Lawsuit Seeks Release Of Ramsey Parents' Indictment In Slaying

"....The entire Ramsey family was cleared of any involvement in the murder of JonBenet back in 2008, thanks to then newly discovered DNA evidence, according to 9News. Patsy Ramsey, JonBenet's mother, died 2 years earlier in 2006 of ovarian cancer. Tragically, she was still considered a possible suspect when she died.

Beginning in 2010, investigators reopened the case and launched a fresh round of interviews with witnesses that could provide more insight into the murder, according to ABC News, but nothing fruitful came of those interviews.

The DNA evidence still points to an "unexplained third party" that serves as a vague lead for authorities still pursuing the case, TIME magazine reported....."

JonBenét Ramsey Case: Prosecutor Who Refused To Charge Parents Has Controversial Past

Posted: September 20, 2013

Hunter has been no stranger to controversy. John Eller, the former lead prosecutor on the JonBenét Ramsey case, made claims that Hunter worked with a tabloid reporter to discredit him. Eller, who served as commander of the Boulder police department but now lives in Florida, said Hunter worked with Globe reporter Jeff Shapiro to dig up dirt from his past. The allegation was confirmed by Boulder Police Chief Tom Koby, who said two fellow investigators learned of the plan from Shapiro. Alex Hunter has refused to answer questions about the allegations.

Boulder DA: Release of Ramsey documents would be "breach of promise" to grand jury

Posted:   10/08/2013 11:31:53 AM MDT | Updated:   39 min. ago

Snipped:
-----
The Boulder District Attorney's Office filed a response today to a lawsuit filed by a Daily Camera reporter and a press advocacy group, saying the release of the indictment secretly voted on by the JonBenet Ramsey grand jury in 1999 would be a "breach of promise" to the jurors.

...

"The plaintiffs interest in the documents they have requested is understandable; few cases have captured the interest of Coloradans, and people throughout the world, like the death of 6-year-old JonBenet Ramsey," Finn wrote. "But the issue raised by the plaintiff's request and lawsuit are more important than any one case. Every grand juror, and every witness who appears before a grand jury, takes an oath of secrecy, and every witness and grand juror is promised that those involved in the process will honor that oath.

"For this defendant to accede to plaintiff's request and hand over documents from this grand jury would be a breach of promise to the hundreds of citizens serving on grand juries across Colorado, and would undermine the assurances given to grand jurors and witnesses who will be promised secrecy in the future."

Judge hears arguments in Camera reporter's bid to force release of Ramsey indictment

By Sarah Kuta, Camera Staff Writer

A judge will decide next week whether Boulder County District Attorney Stan Garnett must prove why the unprosecuted 1999 grand-jury indictment in the JonBenet Ramsey murder case should remain secret.

Retired Weld County Judge Robert Lowenbach heard arguments about grand-jury secrecy during an hour-long hearing in Boulder District Court today as part of a lawsuit brought by Camera reporter Charlie Brennan and the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press seeking the release of the indictment.

Lowenbach said he will make a decision next week on whether to require Garnett to show cause for why the indictment should not be released publicly.

Boulder DA: Judge can review Ramsey indictment, release as he 'deems appropriate'

Posted:   10/18/2013 04:23:11 PM MDT | Updated:   about 19 hours ago

Snipped:
-----
Boulder County District Attorney Stan Garnett signaled Friday that he's ready to submit any secret grand-jury indictment in the JonBenet Ramsey case to a judge to review and release "as the court deems appropriate."

...

Garnett said Friday that his main concern in releasing any such documents was to ensure he followed Colorado law.

"We've tried to handle this in a manner so that my office does not violate any such (secrecy) requirement," he said.

...

In the response filed in court Friday, Chief Trial Deputy Sean Finn wrote that the DA's Office was willing to submit any such indictment to the court to make a determination as to whether it should be released.

Garnett previously rejected two requests by the Camera and Brennan seeking the release of the indictment under the Colorado Open Records Act.

Thomas Kelley, an attorney for Brennan and the press group, said Garnett's response paved the way for the court to release the documents.

John Ramsey: Release entire grand jury record, not just indictment in JonBenet case

By Mitchell Byars, Camera Staff Writer
Posted: 10/21/2013 06:47:41 AM MDT
Updated: 10/21/2013 01:51:37 PM MDT

John Ramsey has objected to Boulder District Attorney Stan Garnett submitting any secret grand-jury indictment in his daughter's case to a judge to review and release.

In a letter to Garnett dated Sunday on behalf of Ramsey, his attorneys Harold Haddon and Bryan Morgan objected to the release of any indictment without releasing the entire grand jury record.

"Public release of the allegations of an un-prosecuted indictment only serves to further defame (John Ramsey) and his late wife Patricia," the letter reads. "Mr. Ramsey will have no access to whatever evidence the prosecutors presented to the grand jury and will have no ability to disprove those allegations in a court of law. Nor will the public have any ability to evaluate the propriety of the indictment unless the entire grand jury record is unsealed and opened to public view."

Court papers: Grand jury in 1999 sought to indict JonBenet Ramsey's parents

By Michael Martinez and Faith Karimi, CNN

updated 1:49 PM EDT, Fri October 25, 2013

CNN) -- Previously sealed court documents released Friday show that a Colorado grand jury voted in 1999 to indict the parents of murdered 6-year-old JonBenet Ramsey on charges of child abuse resulting in death and being accessories to a crime.

The district attorney decided that year, however, not to file charges against John and Patricia Ramsey, saying there was insufficient evidence. In 2008, a new district attorney said new DNA evidence cleared the parents and their son in the death.

She's Back! New Revelations in JonBenet's Unsolved Death
Posted Friday, October 25th 2013 @ 9am by Carol McKinle

" ...Anger, frustration, disappointment—these were among the emotions that hung thick in the air 14 years ago when lead investigators with the Boulder Police Department heard the news: John and Patsy Ramsey would not be indicted for the death of their beauty princess daughter, JonBenet.

One lead detective, gun at his hip in disbelief, pounded the table with his fists before storming out, slamming the door behind him. For 18 months this team of detectives had worked 60-hour weeks, finding witness after witness, building what they were sure was a rock solid case.

And it had all been for nothing. ..."

" .... Indeed, police felt they had given Hunter plenty of ammunition to charge the Ramsey couple. Among the witnesses who had gone before the Grand Jury were the Ramseys’ housekeeper, the best friend with whom they’d spent Christmas, and her brother Burke. There had been handwriting and DNA testimony. (John and Patsy Ramsey were never called to testify.) But in the end, Hunter had decided it wasn’t enough to prosecute JonBenet’s parents for her death...."

"...Specifically, the jury believed the Ramseys permitted a child to be "unreasonably placed in a situation which posed a threat of injury to the child's life or health, which resulted in the death of JonBenet Ramsey," and that they assisted a person "knowing the person being assisted has committed and was suspected of the crime of murder in the first degree and child abuse resulting in death. ... I don't know how to post the pics shown in the vid slide show.
I was trying to compare the brief banner writing on slide 13
with the writing at top of slide 2.

For some reason, the writing of "Ramsey" appears identical.

I have no known writing sample to compare the ransom not with which is why I jumped on this.

Also, I was unaware Ramsey ran for public office.
Probably figured he could get elected on a sympathy vote and name recognition. Pathetic.

Re: JonBenet Ramsey -- Found Deceased 12/25/96

Letters R, M, E,S, Y:
All the letters show similarity between the two samples.

Note: The white letters on campaign sign could be and most likely are from a computer print shop program. I wonder if they candidate requested using his own writing or that of his wife for the sign?

The letter S:
Note it is not evenly spaced between the upper and lower formations of the letter. In both of the samples the letter is consistently formed with the bottom formation being noticeably larger than the upper formation.

The letter Y:

Author varies with consistency the tail endings of letters below the line. The letter G swings to the right and then tilts to the left with a notable mild hook. Some times this letter begins the upward swing or beginning loop but it is always terminated prior to base line. The letter Y is consistent in a left slide without hooks. (There are a few samples of a tiny right terminal hook on bottom of the down slide. This is also seen in the letter M with more frequency. It can be called a "kickstand.")

The letter E:
Again, in both samples, this letter is formed with similar stroke movements and slants.

The letter M:
This letter shows greatest deviation in upper loop formation.
There is a changeable pattern of frequency between the roundness of the loop and a sharp pointedness of said loops. Looking at example at bottom of sample page 2, the first loop of the letter to be made from the upright support bar is slanted to the right. This appears to be consistent. Most of the M  letters terminate with the downstroke support bar and have a "kickstand" or small upward tic to the bar. The letter Y exhibits periodic "kickstands" on termination of letter.

The letter R:
This is a shocker for how closely the two samples mimic each other.
The forward loop, the down slide of the leg of letter, and even the connective between the upright support bar and the upward loop formation are very similar.

Of note:

This letter is supposedly written by foreigners and yet the pronouns and sentence structure is remarkable. There is not exhibited the normal reticent writing of someone who has learned to write English as a second language. The letter was composed by someone with higher thinking skills in the English language.

I can not help but notice the shaky quality of the writing.
There are several causes for the writing to appear to be shakey or "old man" in appearance.

1. Nerves. Excited or agitated. Exteme.
A. The situation to write the note was a hurried cause. This could lead to the badly formed letters. Time was of essence.
B. The author is aware the child is dead and is feeling rather emotional and perhaps has conflicting emotions.
C. The author is concerned of being detected and facing murder charges.

2. Health
A. Age: Often with age comes deterioration of small muscle movements. This leads to an appearance of shaky hand or finger movements. It could be reflected in writing.

B. Illness: There are some illnesses which affect the nerves or the nervous system. Drugs used to control or cause relief of symptoms of specific illness could also impact the small muscle movement. Arthritis? Cancer? Depression? I dunno.

JonBenet Ramsey case: Former Boulder police chief Mark Beckner says police botched initial handling
Associated Press , Deb Stanley
9:22 AM, Feb 25, 2015

"....BOULDER, Colo. - In his most extensive comments on the JonBenet Ramsey case, former Boulder police chief Mark Beckner told online readers that police botched the initial handling of the crime scene.

Beckner made the comments in an interview on the social-networking and news site Reddit last weekend.

However, while 7NEWS was able to read those comments on Wednesday morning, the comments were deleted later that morning and no longer appear on the Reddit website.

The comments disappeared after Beckner told the Daily Camera that he didn't realize his comments would filter out to the rest of the world.

Beckner left one comment on the website, a comment posted Tuesday: "This will be my last post, but after reading some of the follow-up posts, I believe there may have been some misinterpretation of some of my comments or 'reading between the lines.' I want to emphasize that I do not fully know what happened that night or who killed JonBenet, as some have surmised. If anyone did, this would not be a mystery. This is why I do not speculate. I simply answered questions as truthfully as possible and only on things that have already been reported. Dismissing the intruder evidence is a mistake and as I emphasized in an earlier post, the location of the foreign DNA is significant. This could very likely be the person who killed JonBenet. However, we will not be sure until and if they find out who it belongs to. And, just because we can not prove a point of entry, doesn't mean someone didn't find a way to get in. Just as I believe we can not exonerate on one piece of evidence, neither can we ignore evidence. Finally, everyone is presumed innocent until proven otherwise. Thanks again."

".....Here are some of Beckner's comments that were posted on the Reddit website before they were deleted. The questions came from Reddit users. Typos and other errors came from the people writing posts on the website:

Beckner: I certainly wish we could have gone to trial. However, the standard of proof beyond a reasonable doubt is hard to overcome when you have some foreign DNA that cannot be explained. If we were to find the source of this trace DNA, we would have an explanation, regardless of which way it pointed. When you are talking about small traces of DNA, there can be several explanations and various ways it could have been transferred. Without identifying who it belongs to, we can only theorize the source of the DNA and how it got there. Without this trace DNA, I believe the prosecutors would have moved forward. It is interesting that apparently the grand jury jurors did not find the DNA reason enough not to find probable cause. Personally, I believe if the source is ever found, we will discover that there is an explanation other than belonging to the murderer. There are others, such as ex-DA Mary Lacy who believe the DNA has to be that of the murderer.
[b]
What do you believe actually happened to JonBenet? Who do you think is responsible?[b]

[b]Beckner: We know from the evidence she was hit in the head very hard with an unknown object, possibly a flashlight or similar type item. The blow knocked her into deep unconsciousness, which could have led someone to believe she was dead. The strangulation came 45 minutes to two hours after the head strike, based on the swelling on the brain. While the head wound would have eventually killed her, the strangulation actually did kill her. [b]The rest of the scene we believe was staged, including the vaginal trauma, to make it look like a kidnapping/assault gone bad. I have avoided saying who I believe is responsible and let the facts speak for themselves. There are several viable theories.

What was your gut instinct when John Mark Karr confessed to the murder?

Beckner: My gut reaction was that Mary Lacy did not know the facts of the case and was making a big mistake. His confession, once they shared it with us, did not match the evidence at the scene. After she asked for our help in proving he did it, we knew in about 18 hours he was not the guy. We were able to confirm he was not even in Colorado at the time by just doing some routine checking and then obtained photos of him in Georgia at the time. The DNA test, which she thought would prove he did it, proved her wrong.

Is there something you wish had been done differently from the start of the investigation that perhaps could have yielded a conviction?

Beckner: Not me personally, as I did not get involved until September 1997, about 9 months after the murder. I was brought on to try to get the investigation back on course, which I think we did a pretty good job of once we got some DAs involved who worked with us rather than against us. As for the police department in general, I wish we would have done a much better job of securing and controlling the crime scene on day one. We also should have separated John and Patsy and gotten full statements from them that day. Letting them go was a big mistake, as they soon lawyered up and we did not get to formally interview them again until May of 1997, five months after their daughter was murdered. Had the police found the body early on, as they should have, I believe the initial course of the investigation would have gone differently, but who really knows at this point. We also did a poor job of protecting the crime scene. It was sort of like a perfect storm that day that set things off in the wrong direction. It was and still is the only case of its kind as far as we or the FBI knows of, so its not like anyone had experience with this sort of thing either.

I heard rumors that Patsy Ramsay actually killed JonBenet because she was jealous of the little girls relationship with her dad. I was wondering if an inappropriate relationship between John and JonBenet was investigated? I also wanted to know if it's true that the handwriting on the ransom note matched Patsy Ramsays handwriting?

Beckner: We investigated all aspects of the family relationships. There is no evidence that I know of to support the rumor you heard. Handwriting experts noted some similarities, but not enough to say she wrote the note. There are also similarities to the style of writing to Patsy's style, such as use of exclamation marks, acronyms, and indentation. One expert noted signs of deception in the writing as well....."

Would DNA results be altered with chemo and/or radiation?
What convinces me the mother was complicate in this crime was the note being written several times on the pad in the kitchen. Handwriting DID match the mother, IMO,

I would not hold my breath waiting with anticipation that Burke will actually reveal anything of value.

Not because I don't think he has anything of value to contribute (I think he does, there were 4 people in that house and now only 2 are left living), but because we are talking about (a) 20th anniversary (b) Dr. Phil, and (c) the continuing Ramsey PR spin machine, and above all (d) self-preservation.

Why now?  Why not in October 2013 when it was revealed that the Grand Jury had indeed issued a true bill to indict Patsy and John only to have the DA refuse to sign and/or prosecute.  Why not on the 10th anniversary, 5th anniversary?  How about during the initial and only 2 interviews that were conducted with him in 1996.  He was only 9 but surely had vivid and fresh memories of that night - and preceding nights....and information shedding light on life as a Ramsey.

No.  Call me a cynic, but I do not believe for a nano second that he will reveal anything except what John has scripted.

IMO and RIP JonBenet.

'I know people think I did it': JonBenet Ramsey's brother gives his first ever interview to Dr. Phil on the 20th anniversary of the six-year-old beauty queen's death

".... Burke says in the interview that he is trying to mark the anniversary of JonBenet's death by speaking out.

'I want to honor her memory by doing this interview. I don't want anyone to forget,' he said.

John Ramsey also appears in the three-part special, but vows that it will be his final interview about the death of his daughter.

'This is my final interview. I have no reason for speaking to the media again,' he says.

John and Patsy had called police to report her kidnapping and said they found a note demanding a ransom of $118,000 - and ordering them to not contact authorities - if they wanted their daughter returned safely.

Despite the ransom note, police arrived to their home shortly after in clearly-marked vehicles......"

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3765239/I-know-people-think-did-Brother-JonBenet-Ramsey-gives-interview-Dr-Phil-20th-anniversary-beauty-queen-s-death-addresses-speculation-murderer.html

JMO I do not think he did the murder. I do believe Patsy tried to set the stage with the fake ransom note. The fake note was written several practice times on the note pad. and she was one of the few people who knew what John's bonus was. I don't think John was involved in the death or the ransom note. This leaves Patsy.... who had knowledge and may even have been sexually abusing her daughter. (She may have originally taken JonBenet to the basement to punish her for wetting the bed. Things got out of control and Patsy accidentally killed her. Patsy then did the molestation, the fake basement break in/out, and wrote the phony note.)

Report on interview with brother, Burke Ramsey, 9 yo

'When was the last time you saw JonBenet alive?' Never-before-seen footage of murdered six-year-old beauty queen's brother talking to police is aired in new documentary

"...The brother of JonBenet Ramsey nervously shifted in his seat and chugged soda during his police interview two years after the six-year-old beauty queen's murder in 1996.

This never-before-seen footage of police speaking with Burke Ramsey aired Monday night on The Killing of JonBenet: The Truth Uncovered - A&E's two-hour special on the nearly 20-year-old cold case.

In the interview, then nine-year-old Burke answers simple questions about his sister's death, specifically about Christmas Day - the last time she was seen alive. . ...."

So. Did big brother decide to stir the wasp nest in the hope of someone getting stung?

JonBenet Ramsay's brother files $150MILLION lawsuit against the pathologist who accused him of killing his sister in TV report

"...'Spitz made this accusation without ever examining JonBenet's body, without viewing the crime scene, and without consulting with the pathologist who performed the autopsy on JonBenet,' reads a complaint filed in Wayne County Circuit Court in Detroit by Burke's attorney, Lin Wood.

Burke Ramsey, who is now 29 and lives in Charlevoix in northern Michigan, is seeking $150million in damages from Dr Spitz.

The lawsuit says Dr Spitz is a publicity seeker 'with a history of interjecting himself in high profile cases'.. ...."

"....In one episode FBI special agent Jim Clement said Burke had a 'history of scatological problems' and had smeared feces on the bedroom walls and on one of his sister's Christmas presents.

Ex-housekeeper Linda Hoffman-Pugh also told she programme she remembered a time when she uncovered 'fecal material the size of a grapefruit on the sheets' in JonBenet's bed......"

New DNA testing planned in JonBenet Ramsey case to tap the FBI database of 15.1 million known offenders, 20 years after the child beauty queen's murder

"... Meanwhile, documents show that Lacy was informed that the DNA samples which had been recovered from the evidence in the case came from at least two people, but chose not to address or reveal this in her letter exonerating the Ramseys.

That is not all either, as the experts also believe there is a chance that the DNA samples have no value in the case.

The DNA could have come from earlier contact or even another article of clothing JonBenet had been wearing prior to her death.

'It's certainly possible that an intruder was responsible for the murder, but I don't think that the DNA evidence proves it,' said William C. Thompson, a professor in the Department of Criminology, Law and Society at the University of California-Irvine...."

"...Burke Ramsey is currently suing CBS for $150million after the network aired The Case Of: JonBenet Ramsey last month, which concluded with investigators revealing that after extensive research into the events that happened on the night of the murder they believed Burke Ramsey was responsible for killing his sister. ...."

JonBenet Ramsey killer sat outside her bedroom waiting to strike claims DA who continues to defend the family despite recent revelation that there were major flaws in her DNA testing

"....She then cited an indentation found outside JonBenet's bedroom during the investigation.

'It was a butt print. We all saw it. The entire area was undisturbed except for that place in the rug,' said Lacy.

'Whoever did this sat outside of her room and waited until everyone was asleep to kill her.' ...."

I would like to see this evidence. What size was this butt print? Could a child have sat there, leaning against the wall, waiting for her to come out of her room so they could go down for dinner together? What logic dictates the person was laying in wait? Was the area checked for stray fabric fibers? etc...

IMO, short of a confession, this case will never be definitively solved. The ransom letter demanding ransom in the exact amount of John Ramsey's bonus, the fact that the ransom letter was written on paper from inside the Ramsey home, and the significant similarities to Patsey Ramsey's handwriting make it hard to believe the murderer did not come from within the family. Add, that the ransom note demanded the parents not call LE, but they immediately called LE with no hesitation. IMO, this signals that they already knew that Jon Benet could no longer be harmed because she was already dead. It's hard to say what a person's reactions might be in that scenario, but it seems reasonable to me that the parents would at least hesitate to call LE for fear the "kidnapper/s" were monitoring their actions in some matter and would harm the victim if they learn LE was called. So, for me, this case is just a question of which Ramsey, and why.

Was JonBenet murdered by pedophiles? Explosive new Netflix documentary explores theory the six-year-old was killed by members of a Colorado child porn ring

"... JonBenet had a fractured skull and it appeared as though she had been strangled.

Male DNA was found on her underwear, but authorities have never been able to match it to a suspect.

When John and Patsy called police they told them they found a ransom note demanding a payment of $118,000 - but said they could not tell authorities about it.

Despite being told about the note, police arrived to their home shortly after in clearly marked vehicles...."
