Friday, November 23, 2012, was TJ's birthday. He would have been 25 years old.

"Happy Birthday, TJ" . . . wherever you are . . .

Special thoughts and prayers that TJ will be found soon and returned to his loving family. TJ has been missing for over a year now.

A Brother's Story, Still Searching for Answers

By Rachael Trost
NBC News - Dateline

First published May 17th 2015, 3:07 pm

The Murray brothers grew up playing baseball together.

"It as something we all did. But TJ was really into it, he played in high school and was an umpire for little league when he was older. It was kind of brother-bonding in a way, especially because TJ was an umpire while our youngest brother Sam was just starting to play," James Murray, one of TJ's four younger brothers, told Dateline.

"Now when I come to this field, it's comforting. Sad, but comforting."

Thomas, known as TJ to family and friends, had already faced a lot in his life. He had survived leukemia as a child and a nearly fatal car crash in his teens. But the night of October 19th, 2011 brought a whole new battle, not just for TJ, but for his entire family

Human remains found in Spring, TX .. .behind Rayford Road

Post by Ann - Tx on Wed Aug 26, 2015 2:55 pm

This is on our local news from KPRC (NBC) - Houston, TX.  I hope these remains are TJ Murray's.  He went missing on October 9, 2011 and there were extensive searches by Texas EquuSearch at the time.

To this date, TJ Murray has not been found.

The area where the remains were found is in deep woods of a wooded area behind Rayford Road.  They were found by two men on all terrain vehicles about 9 pm last night (8/25/15).   The area is being treated as a crime scene by Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.

TJ went missing from a club in the Rayford Road area in Spring, Montgomery County, TX.  Earlier that evening he had coached a boy's baseball game.  He was a student at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX.

I will follow this developing story closely.  Hopefully, this will be TJ Murray.  His family needs closure.

Post by Ann - Tx on Wed Aug 26, 2015 5:29 pm

KBTX (CBS) - Bryan/College Station covered the TJ Murray disappearance extensively and for many months kept this story in the news.

Even though there is no identification at this time, it is so nice to see KBTX covering the discovery of remains found in Montgomery County.

Thank you Sylvia and KBTX!
